Żabinka is the name of the resort where the camp takes place. Żabinka is also a small village that lies nearby. What is more, the resort is located on a lake called not differently but Żabinka. So the answer to the question: “Why on Earth Zabinki?” seems to be quite obvious. However, frankly speaking, somewhere at the beginning of organizing Zabinki we misspelled the name "Żabinka" as it finally became Żabinki. It was meant to be that way!

To avoid tongues braking, we got rid off problematic Polish “Ż”, put the “i” at the end hoping that the similarities will be the key to remember the place of destination rather than confusing elements.

All in all, it is important to know what is “Żaba”. Have a look at our logo and right away you’ll learn your first word in Polish… That is right! “Żaba” means nothing else than a frog.
