About Zabinki community
This popular catchword regarding youth projects gets a new meaning in Zabinki.
The camp is not only the gathering of people who come from different European countries. Each of the participant carries his own story that contributes to the unique international atmosphere commonly experienced as Zabinki spirit. It is not about the abstract variety of countries, cultures or nations, but about the experience of different PEOPLE, who grew up in these countries, cultures or nations. Zabinki carries a truly humanist message: everyone has their own story and everyone counts, for oneself as well as for other people.
Building Zabinki community is a process of self-discovery, getting to know other people and establishing relations that are sometimes the first step towards long-lasting friendships. Zabinki is not an abstract combination of ideas for a good international project. It is a reality that we have been experiencing for years.
The end of holidays never mean the end of Zabinki spirit. If anything, it is the beginning. We have new friends to meet in Amsterdam, Moscow, Turin, Bucharest, Cardiff or on the next Zabinki camp. It depends on us whether we wish to continue the adventure.
Zabinki.pl - virtual space of Zabinkers (Zabinki former participants) and Zabinkers-to-be (those who haven't had the opportunity to taste Zabinki in reality and at least are thinking about it) are meant to help in sustaining the contact and enabling interaction among people between the Zabinki camps. Our ambition is not to create another community portal since there are a lot better than ours, like e.g. Facebook. Our wish is to give a little of Zabinki spirit in internet.
